I like a little bit of pretty in my planner but I tend to get stressed when there is TOO much. I use highlighters to cross off each item I complete. I like adding an inspiring quote in the blank spot at the beginning of the week. The remember to or notes section on the side also measures 1.5 inches and it is two boxes high. I’ve used this planner and this layout every single day, week, and month without fail since then. Until a couple of months ago until I discovered the new Happy Planner®️ dashboard layout. I’d use the planner religiously for a few weeks and then I’d sheepishly go back to to-do lists and post it notes and the planner would get lost in the shuffle. Vertical, hourly, horizontal…you name it. I tried Erin Condren, Day Designer, and every layout style of The Happy Planner®️. In addition to the calendar, I have a section where I keep track of all my craft orders. They are similar to the monthly tabs in your Happy Planner, but to distinguish them separately, the tabs are at the top of the Happy Planner (not the sides where the monthly tabs are). They mark off certain sections, making it easy for you to flip to.
